Ecommerce & Performance Marketing ExecutiveHybrid, IrelandPart-time 15h / week

Part-time 15hrs/week • £28,000–£32,000 FTE (dependent on experience) • Hybrid, flexible • Ireland-based

A brand built for real weather. A role built for someone serious about ecommerce.

Wild & Free Outdoors exists for the woman who refuses to stay inside. The one who walks the dog in the rain, stands on the sideline in November, and does not cancel because the forecast is grim. Our hero product — The COBE — is a waterproof sherpa-lined longline coat built for real Irish and UK weather, worn by real women living full outdoor lives.

We are a growing DTC brand with a loyal customer base, a strong email list, and a product that generates genuine word-of-mouth. We run lean, move deliberately, and take the numbers seriously. We are now building our first in-house marketing team — and this is one of two founding roles.

This is a founding role. That matters.

Until now, our performance marketing has been outsourced. We have decided to bring it in-house because we believe the right person, deeply embedded in this brand, will do it better. That person gets to build something from the inside — not support someone else's strategy, but lead it.

We are a startup in the best sense of the word: ambitious, moving fast, and genuinely open to how we grow together. This role is part-time now. That may well evolve. If part-time is your long-term preference, we are agile and happy to build around that. If you want to grow with the business as it scales, that door is open too.

What we are not flexible on is outcomes. This is a results-oriented environment. We care about what gets done, not where or when you do it. If you are the kind of person who sees a problem and fixes it before being asked, you will thrive here. If you need someone to set your agenda for you, this is not the right fit.

What you will own

Ecommerce performance

You think like an ecommerce operator first. Contribution margin, AOV, repeat purchase rate, return rate, sell-through — these are not metrics you look up, they are the language you think in. You read Shopify data the way other people read a newspaper. You spot what is working, what is not, and you act on it.

Meta advertising — data-led, creatively informed

You are genuinely curious about Meta. You follow algorithm changes — including how Andromeda has shifted the platform's creative and distribution logic — and you adapt without waiting to be told. You understand that winning on Meta today is about creative volume, angle testing, and reading signals fast enough to act on them. You are a data geek who has evolved: you know the numbers inside out and you know the numbers are downstream of the creative.

You work closely with our Content Executive to plan ad content — briefing angles, identifying what the data says needs testing, and feeding that back into the creative pipeline. This is a genuinely collaborative relationship.

Klaviyo email and CRM

Email is one of our strongest revenue channels. You manage the platform — flow architecture, segmentation, A/B testing, list hygiene, send decisions. The Content Executive writes the copy. You decide who gets it, when, and whether it worked.

Shopify conversion optimisation

Product page performance, checkout flow, discount mechanics, upsell logic. You identify what is leaking and you fix it or flag it without waiting for a quarterly review.

SEO — secondary, time permitting, but genuinely valued

Organic traffic is one of the most valuable things a DTC brand can build. We are early on this journey — domain authority is low and there is significant room to grow. SEO is not a core demand of this role and will never crowd out the primary channels. But if you have an understanding of SEO fundamentals and an appetite to develop it further, the impact you can have over time is immeasurable.

In practice this means: monitoring our performance through Ahrefs Webmaster Tools, identifying keyword and link-building opportunities, flagging on-page improvements, and building our organic presence steadily alongside everything else. We will support your development in this area if it is something you want to grow into.

What good looks like at 90 days

  • You own the Meta account independently and CPA is trending in the right direction
  • You have run at least three structured creative angle tests and documented what the data told you
  • You have audited Klaviyo and at least two structural improvements are live
  • The Shopify dashboard has no unaddressed conversion issue you have not flagged
  • You and the Content Executive have a working rhythm for briefing and reviewing ad content
  • You produce a weekly revenue report the founder can read in under five minutes

The kind of person we are looking for

Skills matter, but we hire on attitude first. We are looking for someone who is solutions-oriented by instinct — someone who sees a problem and moves toward it rather than waiting to be directed. Someone who is hard-working not because they have to be, but because they care about the outcome. Someone who is excited by the idea of being part of something small that is going somewhere.

You have hands-on ecommerce experience, ideally with a product-based DTC brand — though this is not a hard requirement if your commercial instincts are strong. You have managed Meta advertising and you approach it with genuine curiosity. You follow what the platform is doing and you have adapted your approach as it has evolved.

You are comfortable in a startup environment. That means some ambiguity, a flat structure, a founder who is across everything, and the kind of pace where decisions get made in a conversation rather than a committee. It also means your work is visible, your impact is real, and you are genuinely part of building something rather than maintaining someone else's system.

You are Ireland-based — North or South — and can commit to one in-person contact day per week in Belfast to help our small but mighty team develop and collaborate, when our workspace is confirmed.

What we offer

  • £28,000–£32,000 FTE salary dependent on experience, paid pro-rata at 15 hours per week
  • Performance bonus scheme linked to agreed commercial outcomes
  • Hybrid and flexible working — we care about results, not hours at a desk
  • Ongoing ecommerce development supported by the business
  • A founding role in a brand with genuine ambition and a product people love
  • The chance to lead where you may previously have only had the chance to support
  • A small but mighty team where your contribution is seen and your voice is heard

Essential criteria

These are non-negotiable. If you cannot demonstrate each of these clearly in your application, we are not the right fit right now.

  • 2+ years of hands-on Meta Ads Manager experience, independently managing and optimising live accounts
  • Demonstrable track record of profitably scaling Meta campaigns — we care about contribution, not just ROAS
  • Shopify experience — comfortable reading data, identifying conversion issues, and making or briefing changes
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — you use it as a matter of habit for diagnostics
  • Klaviyo — you have built and managed flows, not just sent campaigns
  • Attitude — solutions-oriented, outcomes-focused, and genuinely excited by a startup environment where your work is visible and your impact is real

Desirable criteria

These are not required, but the more of these you bring, the more quickly you will hit your stride.

  • Experience with a product-based DTC or ecommerce brand — you understand inventory, margins, and sell-through, not just clicks
  • Google Shopping or Performance Max experience
  • SEO fundamentals and a genuine appetite to develop further — we want to grow organic traffic and will support you in building this
  • Familiarity with attribution modelling and multi-touch reporting
  • Experience briefing or collaborating on ad creative — you have been in the room where content and performance meet
  • Exposure to affiliate or partnership tracking platforms
  • Ahrefs or equivalent SEO tooling experience

How to apply

Send us three things:

  1. A short note — not a cover letter — on an ecommerce or Meta problem you identified, what the data told you, and what you did about it
  2. Your view on how Andromeda and recent Meta algorithm changes should be influencing creative strategy for a DTC brand in 2026
  3. One paragraph on what you think our customer needs from us right now that we are not giving her — find us at wildandfreeoutdoors.com

Send to aisling@wildandfreeoutdoors.com with the subject line: Ecommerce & Performance — [your name].

We will respond within 48 hours. Two rounds, no lengthy homework, decision within a week.

Live Beautifully Whatever the Weather

Content ExecutiveHybrid, IrelandPart-time 20hrs/week

Part-time 20hrs/week • £25,000–£28,000 FTE (dependent on experience) • Hybrid, flexible • Ireland-based

We are looking for someone who makes people feel something.

Wild & Free Outdoors exists for the woman who refuses to stay inside. She walks the dog in the rain. She stands on the sideline in November. She does not cancel because the forecast changed. She reaches for her COBE and she goes anyway. Our brand is built entirely around her — her life, her weather, her refusal to miss the moments that matter.

This is a brand with heart. Everything we make — every piece of content, every email, every video, every caption — has to carry that. Not polished brand-speak. Not AI-generated filler. Something that actually connects. Something that makes a woman stop scrolling and feel, even for a second, like we made this for her specifically.

Wellness and wellbeing are at the core of what we stand for. The outdoor life we champion is not about performance or achievement. It is about mental health, fresh air, connection, and the quiet joy of not missing the moments that matter, and finding a way to feel truly alive in life. The right content executive brings those values through in everything they create.

We are building our first in-house creative and marketing team. This is one of two founding roles — and this one shapes everything the brand looks and sounds like.

This is a founding role. That matters.

Until now, our content has been managed externally. We are bringing it in-house because we believe the right person, genuinely embedded in this brand, will do it much better. You are not here to support someone else's creative vision. You are here to lead it.

This role will grow. The brief will evolve as the brand develops — new products, new colours, retail partnerships, a bigger community, a bigger platform. If you want a role where your creative fingerprints are on something real, visible, and growing, this is it.

We are a startup in the best sense of the word: ambitious, fast-moving, genuinely open to how we grow together. This role is part-time now and may well evolve. If part-time is your long-term preference, we are agile and happy to build around that. We care about what gets made and the impact it has — not where or when you make it.

What you will own

Content creation and capture — this is where you lead

You are brilliant at making content. Not briefing it out and hoping for the best — actually making it. You shoot, you edit, you post. You can turn a dog walk in October into a piece of content that stops someone in Dublin, Derby, or Edinburgh and makes them think: I need that coat. I love that brand.

You are hot on trends. Not chasing them blindly — reading them fast enough to know when one fits the brand and moving before it passes. You see an angle and you act on it. You understand the difference between content that grabs attention and content that holds it, and you know how to produce both.

You also lead our planned creative shoots as and when we need them — commissioning and directing photographers and videographers, art directing to a clear visual standard, and producing content that works across paid and organic. You own the shot list, the brief, the day on location, and the output.

Social media — Instagram, TikTok and Facebook

You own the look, feel, and voice of Wild & Free across all three platforms. Instagram is story-led and carefully considered. TikTok is where we show up in the moment, with authenticity over polish and which has been widely under-utilised by us to date. Facebook is community and connection.

You create for the platform, the moment, and the audience. You do not repurpose without thinking. You know what belongs in a story, what belongs in a feed, and what belongs on TikTok on a Tuesday evening when the algorithm is being kind. You plan two weeks ahead and you stay agile enough to drop the plan when something more real and more relevant is happening right now.

Writing — with heart, not from a template

You write beautifully. Not in a performative way — in a human way. Copy that does not sound like copy. Captions that do not sound like captions. Emails that people actually read to the end and sometimes reply to just to say something. The Wild & Free voice is warm, honest, occasionally funny, never trying too hard, and always written for the woman who gets it. If you know, you know.

We are open to AI as an ideas board, a starting point, a creative prompt when the blank page is blank. We are not open to AI as the finished article. Our community can feel the difference and so can we. The writing that represents this brand has to come from a real person who means it.

Ad creative — in partnership with performance

You work closely with our Ecommerce and Performance Marketing Executive on paid social creative. They bring the data and the objective. You bring the idea and the execution. You are curious about what the numbers say and you use that curiosity to make high performing creative for ads, not just prettier creative.

UGC, creator partnerships and affiliate

You manage our UGC programme — identifying and briefing creators, reviewing their content, and ensuring it is genuinely usable across paid and organic. Over time this will develop into a full creator partnership and affiliate programme.

Community and email — Klaviyo

You look after our community — the Wild Tribe — with the same care you bring to everything else. Authentic engagement, real responses, a presence that feels human not managed. You also own the content and copy for our Klaviyo email programme — the Sunday email, campaign sends, and seasonal moments. The performance exec manages the platform and the send strategy. You provide the words and the creative treatment that make every email worth opening.

What good looks like at 90 days

  • Instagram, TikTok and Facebook each have a content calendar running two weeks ahead
  • The Klaviyo email campaigns are written and built and getting click-throughs and supporting our commercial goals while elevating the brand
  • Ad creative briefing and production is running in a genuine rhythm with the performance exec
  • UGC creators have been onboarded, briefed, and have delivered usable content
  • The brand looks, sounds, feels, and moves like itself across every channel

The kind of person we are looking for

We hire on attitude first. We are looking for someone who is solutions-oriented by instinct, hard-working because they care about the brand and what they are building, and genuinely excited by the idea of being part of something small that is going somewhere meaningful.

You are a creator, not just a marketer. You make things. You have an eye that cannot be trained — it is either there or it is not. You are video native, and edit fast and well. You understand that the first three seconds are everything on TikTok, and that the opening line is everything in an email, and you write and shoot accordingly.

You care about wellness and the outdoors. Not in a performative way — genuinely. You understand why a woman walking her dog in the rain on a dark November morning is doing something important for herself, and you can communicate that in a way that makes others feel it too.

You are Ireland-based — North or South — and can commit to one in-person contact day per week in Belfast when our workspace is confirmed, to help us build our team vibe and collaborate beautifully.

Who you will work with

You will report to Aisling Bremner, founder of Wild & Free Outdoors. Aisling has 25+ years of experience in marketing and brand strategy at senior level. She built this brand from scratch, she is its muse, and she will be genuinely invested in your creative ideas, your development, and your career progression in a way that most founders simply are not.

You will work in close creative partnership with our Ecommerce and Performance Marketing Executive, with Aisling, and with our wider support partners. This is a team where creativity and performance work together in a genuinely fulfilling way — and where you will see the fruits of your ideas come to life, quickly and visibly.

What we offer

  • £28,000–£32,000 FTE salary dependent on experience, paid pro-rata at 20 hours per week
  • Performance bonus scheme linked to agreed commercial outcomes
  • Hybrid and flexible working — we care about results, not where or when you make them
  • A founding creative role in a brand with genuine ambition and a product people love
  • The chance to lead where you may previously only have had the chance to support
  • Direct mentorship from a founder with 25+ years of senior marketing experience who genuinely loves creative work
  • A role that will grow with the brand — in scope, seniority, and creative opportunity
  • A fulfilling environment where your ideas are welcomed and your contribution is felt

How to apply

Send us three things:

  1. A short note — not a cover letter — telling us why this brand, and what about this role connected with you
  2. One piece of content you are genuinely proud of — a video, a post, a campaign, an email. Tell us why it worked and what you would do differently
  3. A piece of content you would make for Wild & Free on day 1 and why

Send to aisling@wildandfreeoutdoors.com with the subject line: Content Executive — [your name].

We will respond within 48 hours. Two rounds, no lengthy homework, decision within a week.
