As a Content and Social Media Producer at Wild & Free, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity, engaging our growing community, and bringing our mission to life. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a brand's inception and work closely with the founding team.

The Role


Content Creation and Curation:

  • Develop and produce exceptional written and visual content that resonates with our luxury outdoor brand image.
  • Curate and create content for various digital platforms, including our website, blog, social media channels, and email campaigns.
  • Craft compelling stories that embody our brand ethos, emphasising sustainability, mental well-being, the outdoors, and community & connection.

Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Lead our organic social media strategy and community management, creating and executing campaigns that align with our brand's mission of well-being, the outdoors, and community & connection.
  • Lead our paid advertising creative content strategy collaborating with media buyers and content creators to produce and plan an advertising strategy that converts.
  • Cultivate and nurture a vibrant online community by actively engaging with our audience.
  • Identifying and collaborating with brand ambassadors and influencers who share our values through innovative and creative partnerships to amplify our reach and brand presence.
  • Bring our brand pillars to life through the creative organic content that you produce.

Community Building and Nurturing:

  • Take a central role in fostering a sense of belonging within our community.
  • Engage with our audience through meaningful conversations, responding to comments, and creating opportunities for interaction.
  • Initiate and coordinate community-focused initiatives, such as outdoor meetups, online events, and content collaborations with community members.

Event Support and Coordination:

  • Play a vital role in planning and attending events to capture captivating content that showcases our brand in action.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including content capture, brand representation, and community engagement.

E-commerce Support:

  • Utilise your experience with e-commerce websites to optimise onsite product promotion and sales.
  • Create engaging content that drives onsite conversions.

Other roles as required to support the business:

  • As a start-up we are all heavily involved and hands on in all aspects of the business, so this job description is not exhaustive. As part of the team, you may be required to assist with tasks in other areas of the business on occasion as we grow our team, specifically in the areas of administration and reporting.
  • The role in our growing business offers real scope for growth for the right person to evolve into roles with greater responsibility and opportunity.


  • Academic qualifications are not as important to us as proven experience and a positive attitude, however due to the heavy nature and importance of content writing, we do require an education to A-level or equivalent and C+ grades in English.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven and demonstrable experience of social media management and producing exceptional content in a professional and paid capacity.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with an eye for detail.
  • A deep understanding and interest in digital marketing trends, platforms, and influencer collaboration.
  • Deep knowledge of the creator space, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and an aptitude for quickly learning and adapting to new channels.
  • Experience working on brand partnerships and with influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Packages- Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word


  • You will be highly creative with an innovative mindset and a passion for a outdoor lifestyle, sustainability, well-being, and community & connection.
  • You will take initiative, work independently when required, and demonstrate a strong work ethic, as you'll be a self-starter working within a small, hands-on team in a start up environment.
  • You will not be afraid of change and the natural pace of developing a new brand.
  • You will like us be ambitious and a driving force of creativity as we grow Wild & Free, continuously generating fresh ideas and strategies that align with our brand's pillars and goals.
  • You will be curious and will always seek to stay current with trends in the creator space, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms, and adapt our strategies accordingly.
  • You will collaborate closely with the founding team, leveraging your creative expertise and problem-solving skills to bring our collective ideas to life.
